Welcome to Kappa Alpha Theta at the University of Kansas! Theta means so much to us here, and we're glad you stopped by to learn more about it. Founded in 1870, Kappa Alpha Theta holds the proud position of being the first ever Greek letter fraternity known among women. The sisters here at the Kappa chapter continue to carry on the traditions and uphold the values that our founders deemed important 141 years ago. We strive for the highest scholarship and the widest influence for betterment throughout the community. The Kappa Chapter Thetas are involved in countless activities not only within our chapter, but also within the University and the community. Yet as busy as we are with academics and outside leadership, Thetas always find time to strengthen our sisterhood and have fun! Thank you for stopping by, and as always... ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!
